Caro Claire Burke has crafted something truly special. The way she captures the bittersweet ache of nostalgia is unlike anything I've read before. Elara's journey through her own memories had me in tears by the third chapter. This is a book that stays with you long after the final page.
I genuinely loved this book. Burke's prose is gorgeous and the concept of reliving memories through a journal is executed brilliantly. My only minor critique is that the middle section drags a little. That said, the final third is absolutely stunning. Four stars, highly recommended.
